Room 114

114, spelled One-4-Teen, by Bahamadia….is arguably one of the most original beats ever constructed!!!! It really feels open ended like it has no true identifiable bassline. In fact it does have one, but there something about this track that makes it so unique to me. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
I really cannot identify what it is that is missing or not missing. Can someone out there in cyber-music land explain what this may or not be?
Also can anyone shed some light who Ron E. Still is? I know he produced this track but, I never heard of him beforehand or even after this track really. Anyhow, here is the jawn……SO SICK!!!!!
Holla back at me and give me your opinion:

Its definatley a “head bopper”, I get the feeling I’ve been exposed to this somewhere, somewhere in the universe. My ears may be deceiving me but I feel a “digable planets” moment coming on, when I listen to this track…..I cannot say that its missing anything, it flows, it connects and resonates…..

Love the track! But let’s not forget the lyricist who makes everything come together so lovely! Shout out to one of Philly’s finest, Bahamadia!

Na, Denise I cannot say that your ears are deceiving you because Digable Planets and Slum Village (who had a heavy hand in this track) could be mentioned in the same sentence.
